It's like I was telling the post-doc I've taken to hanging around with: vacations don't agree with me. The first day or two are fine, but any longer leads to lethargy and malaise. Addendum: Berkeley appears to have a seperate rejection letter for people who make the waitlist. This I did not expect.

You are on our waitlist. The waitlist means that you are in line for a spot in our admissions once one opens up. I am not sure how many openings there currently are left but if any of the students chosen so far do not accept then their spot reopens and is filled from the waitlist.
